I
have been greatly influenced by the works of the Old Masters.
Be it painting, sculpture or jewelry, my approach to each subject
is the same. I draw on the past while keeping my eye on the future
and my fingerprint on each work. This inspiration continues to exert
itself upon me, whether my art is representational or seemingly abstract.
Of late, I have been inspired by the
Renaissance period. My current focus is working with gouache,
water color and dry pigment on raw canvas, to create what I call "Painted
Tapestries." A new technique for me. I love the intense colors
and results which may be achieved with this method. Jewelry, as well
as Bronze's, are cast in the lost wax method.
Sculptures commissioned from
various porcelain companies have been exhibited worldwide.
Works have been presented to such dignitaries as Pope John Paul
11, Former First Lady Betty Ford, Queen Elizabeth, Countess
Catherine Bobrinsky, and Former Prime Minister Golda Meir.
I enjoy what I do and I am grateful for the gifts with which I was
born.
